Minute to Win It

I know that not every project will be  masterpiece, but I still hate it when a project doesn't come together like you had planned...That is what happened with this layout.

 

I mean, it's all right, it's just not....what I wanted...you know what I mean?

 

Anyways, we played Minute to Win It games at my daughter's 11th birthday party so I knew right away that the clock paper from the Collecting Moments collection would be perfect!

Fancy Pants Focus

Collecting Moments cards

I played around a bit with the Collecting Moments collection from Fancy Pants Designs and made a few cards.

 

 

I took one of the decorative clothespins apart and used it for the body of the butterfly.

 

 

 

I'm loving the new large tags that come in the collections! They are so great for layering.

My Creative Sketches: Oct Sketch Challenge

The new sketch challenge is up at My Creative Sketches and this month is a little bit different!

 

We get to play with a double page layout.

 

 

When I first started scrapbooking I made double page layouts all the time, but I am certainly a single page layout type of girl now so this was quite a challenge for me.

 

 

I used the Collecting Moments collection and a little bit of the Memories Captured collection from Fancy Pants Designs.

Big Brother in training

I don't know if I've mentioned my family's big news on my blog yet so I guess now is the time!

We are expecting a new baby!

I only have 8 weeks to go now so the excitement is definitely growing :)

 

Today I'm sharing a layout I made of the photos I posted on FB to share our news with our extended family and friends! I got our son a Big Brother t-shirt. It was kind of funny because the words 'big brother' are not very big on the shirt and some people didn't actually 'get it'. I guess I was a big vague.

 

 

I just got my new box of goodies from Fancy Pants Designs so this was my first chance to play with the Collecting Moments collection. I just love this collection as well as the other two that I got to play with (Merry Little Christmas and Happy Go Lucky) I just know I'm going to use these ALL UP!
