SOUS 100th SKETCH!!!

WELCOME TO STUCK ON U SKETCHES
100th SKETCH BLOG HOP
PRIZES AND BLOG CANDY TO BE WON!!!

We are extremely excited to have you all visiting on a historic day for Stuck on U Sketches!
Today's post marks our 100th sketch!

And to celebrate in a big way we have invited our entire Design Team to join in our sketch challenge!

Here is our sketch designed by Leah Schaeffer

You should have come here from Bonnie's blog. If you got lost along the way or missed any of the stops, just head back to the SOUS blog and check the full hop listings.

Now let me show you my take on the sketch...
I chose to adapt the sketch for a card. I was inspired by the diagonal stripes in the background. I used an embossing folder to get the stripe effect and add some texture.
I created a tiny envelope as an embellishment and of course used the hearts as inspiration for embellishments! With the 'love' tag and polaroid and the I{heart}U brad, we get a sweet little love card for an Anniversary, Valentine, or just because.

Of course we just couldn't let a big day like today go without a bit of a treat for you all so we have a few wonderful sponsors for our hop!

-Our very own Lisa Norris of Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
-Regina Easter of The Cutting Cafe
-Stephanie of Whimsical Designs: has donated 2 stamp sets!!!

Our only expectation is to be a follower of Stuck on U Sketches and leave a little love along the way for each team member (this will take some time so our hop is a week long!) We have 3 sponsors and will pick 3 winners and we'll have those to post for you on Friday, February 8th.

I have done a little shopping in my own stash and have put together this fun little prize!!!

One lucky commenter on this post will win this awesome set of 12 6x6 patterned papers! I will post the winner on my blog on February 8th so make sure you check back!!! I'd also really love it if you were a follower of my blog :)

I hope you will join us and use the sketch to inspire your own project. You can link up your project at the SOUS blog here.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Now it's time for you to hop on over and see what Annette has created with this sketch.

So nice to be asked!

A week or so ago I received an email from My Minds Eye asking me if they could feature my Bee Happy layout on their blog for their I Spy with My Minds Eye segment. Wow! Like they even had to ask. Of course I said yes immediately, My Minds Eye is totally my favorite scrapbooking company!

So today is the day that my layout is featured. If you haven't found your way to my blog from the MME blog, please check out their I Spy feature HERE.

Since I am hopeful that this feature on the My Minds Eye blog might send a few visitors my way today, I wanted to share another layout that I did recently featuring some more lovely MME product; primarily Lost&Found2.

I am finally getting some time in to scrapbook layouts for my son. He is currently 15 months old and only has a handful of layouts in his scrapbook.  This layout is about the first time we met.

I have always wanted to do a 'girly' boy page and this was the perfect opportunity.
The title: Love at First Sight
I absolutely looooove this quote! I saw it on Pinterest and knew immediately that I had to do a layout based on it...
A close up of some embellishments and the little tag with my son's birthday on it.
I didn't have a big enough heart punch or diecut so I just drew my own.
I used this sketch by Becky Fleck to create this layout.

Thanks so much for stopping by
Your kind comments make my day
