Hello Friends!!!
Welcome to Day 1 of the Blog Hop between Pretty Little Studio and the Twinery!
You should have found your way here from Amy Crockett's blog Scrappin Mommy, but if you just happened to come along this post today and you'd like to start hopping from the beginning then just head on over to The Twinery's blog where they are kicking things off!
I'm already a huge fan of The Twinery and use their twine all the time, so when I found out we were going to do a hop with them I was thrilled.
I am usually pretty simple with how I use my twine, tying bows etc. but for this hop I wanted to be a little more creative (on one card at least)
Here are the cards I made to share with you today.
This card was fun to make but it sure took a long time for me to do all that stitching!
I just used one of the awesome title diecuts from the Marigold
collection. I used a paper piercer to poke all the holes in the diecut
first and then used the colors of twine that matched the colors in the
die to stitch through the middle of each letter.
The colors of twine in the word are: Marigold, Buttercream, Seaweed, Caribbean, and Slate.
I kept my second card a little more simple and let the beautiful Marigold Collection from Pretty Little Studio shine. I just love the colors! They are so warm and bright.
I layered a Silhouette cut with a gold foil sticker to create the sentiment and then tied a few layers of Buttercream twine around the card and finished it with a big bow to create some texture.
